Залили соседи

Мы живем на втором этаже. А у соседей на 4 этаже лопнула труба отопления и залило весть стояк. Нас немного, а вот соседей с 3 этажа - очень сильно. Виновники говорят, что они не виноваты, а виновата управляющая компания. Кто с такими случаями сталкивался и может дать дельный совет как поступить в данной ситуации?

Вообще такие ситуации достаточно часто встречаются к сожалению. Особенно если дома старые. Там уже ветхое все, и система отопления в том числе. Насчет виноватого нюансов много имеется. Насколько мне известно, если произошёл прорыв из стояка, то виноватой будет управляющая компания. Однако если будет доказано, что прорыв был по вине собственника квартиры (бил молотком, сверлил, другие ремонтные работы) то отвечать будет собственник квартиры.
