It's frustrating they have not given us any info regarding the next gen version. The current gen version is only a few weeks away, and some folks like me would be considering purchasing the Mamba Forever version to get the current gen and next gen models, but it isn't wise to purchase that without understanding what's actually going to be in the next gen version. They now haven't given anybody a reason to purchase the Mamba Forever edition for the next gen version. Show us the next gen game shortly accountable consumers like me can make up our thoughts! Unless they're scared to show it because they know that it's not a large update.

I totally get the frustration, and I get the hesitation about purchasing the Mamba version without really understanding what's inside, but at the exact same time, if you're already buying a next gen console and planning to play 2K21, you're likely to want to play with it over the next gen console are not you? In the conclusion of the day, they are trying to advertise the current gen version as it is releasing months before their next gen version, but it does clearly put us in this weird position. I am personally planning on just playing with 2K20 that's when I'll start with 2K21 and before the PS5 comes out. I don't care to play with a recent gen version of 2K21 to get a couple months since I know I'll be enjoying it day 1 to the PS5 but clearly that's a call most of us must make on our own.

They will not be speaking until after current-gen releases. You can purchase the Mamba Forever Edition following September 4 if you do not wish to pick Day 1. However, most of us would play on Day 1. But I am not going to cover for Mamba Forever edition. And I'm definitely not planning to wait until October to buy it, because that is only about a month ahead of the next-gen game comes out (assuming the next-gen games launch at precisely the exact same time as the newest consoles). Basically Mamba Forever variant at any stage is a bad choice in my view if you're buying it to get the two versions of NBA 2K21.

My biggest concern is they are going to address the basketball IQ of the cpu It is my biggest pet peeve at NBA 2K21. Or you scaled up your guy absolutely only to watch your cpu controlled teammate run and foul him on the shot once you're already smothering himor when the shot clock is running down and the ball handler gets his back to the rim!

This year's match has never seen such ignorance! Or your teammates that endure 4 feet behind the three point line or straight on it so catch and shoot 3s are constantly screwed up by having to reposition them after the catch. Or teammates that bring their defender clog your route to the basket and directly to you while driving or just get in your way. Or teammates don't do what they are supposed on screens regardless of what your settings are on. Or teammates that take off in their spot the second you try to maneuver to them for a simple turnover to your competitor.

2k20 has been the worst for playing good defense, in ridding you! How many shots that are block turn into instant aids for another team? Or how many times can you poke a ball free from a chunk handler to watch it roll to an opponent for a wide open shot? How many times has the teams SG grabbed multiple rebounds Your badges don't mean offline. GOAT Hakeem with 99s and every HoF badge gets out rebounded by a 6' protector after you block 3 of his shots simply to watch him green which 4th effort. You shouldn't get punished for playing with good defense nor if triumph and you've got to try despite your own teammates giving NBA 2K21 off!
